Join owner and creator of Right Now Candle Co., Joni Watson, at The Vintage Hammer for a fun and informative class where she will teach you all about the basics of soy candle making and guide you through creating your own! You will get to choose a 12 oz ceramic vessel to pour into or we are now offering 7 packs of wax melts for classes in whatever scent you'd like to make! Should you choose the candle route, you'll also go home with a bonus 4 oz mini glass jar that fits perfectly into your ceramic jar if you want to use it as a refill!
If you're feeling extra fun, you can even blend your own custom scent! You'll have more than 30 scents to choose from to either use on their own or combine! The possibilities are endless! We'll bring all of the tools, supplies and equipment for this fun evening! We'll also share why we changed our candle brand from The Enchanted Valley Farm to Right Now Candle Co. All you need to do is bring your adorable self and you get bonus points if you bring a friend!
The first part of the event will be sharing common candle terminology, tools and supplies you'll need, the basics of candle making and a demonstration. Then you get to jump in and create your own! While your candles are solidifying for you to take them home (approximately an hour and 20 minutes), you'll have time to visit, enjoy some snacks and a tasty beverage, choose affirmations to take home, give feedback on new scents and check out all of the wonderful, unique items waiting to be discovered at The Vintage Hammer!

THE BURGOO
Established in 1969, the Burgoo Festival is one of the longest-running, and largest, fall festivals in northern Illinois. The Burgoo Festival is best described as an annual village street party featuring antiques sellers, craftsmen, musicians, and food vendors. More than 400 vendors will present their wares at this annual event. Sponsored by the non-profit LaSalle County Historical Society, it is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year!
This is our first time experiencing the Burgoo and we CANNOT wait!! It already feels magical!
